Lyn is involved in the Empty Bowl Project at the South Ridge School in Culver, Minnesota. Lyn collaborates with art teacher Kate Kebbekus and her elementary classes to create beautiful bowls which are sold to raise money for the local food pantry. Last year, Lyn was able to wheel throw 85 bowls which were glazed by Mrs. Kebbekus' art classes.
Lyn has been an active member of the Northwoods Friends of the Arts and has participated in different collaborations with different artists over the years. Featured above is a collaboration she did with Ron Maki in 2017. Ron Maki is an acrylic painter who also taught art in the same St. Louis County school district as Lyn. They have over 50 years of combined teaching experience!
Lyn has been working on projects with students and staff in Nett Lake, Minnesota.
Lyn is actively involved in a few different galleries in Northern Minnesota. These galleries are located in Cook, Minnesota and Duluth, Minnesota.
Lyn is affiliated with the Calumet Art Center located in Calumet, Michigan. She has taught numerous ceramic classes and other art classes. You can find her work at the art center or at the Paige Wiard Gallery which is also in Calumet.
